Description
Arimidex can be used to treat women who have breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (advanced breast cancer) or breast cancer that has come back after initial treatment.
Arimidex can also be used to treat post-menopausal women with early breast cancer (cancer that has not spread) after they have had surgery to remove the cancer. Giving treatment after surgery is known as adjuvant therapy.
